Capcom Releases New Remember Me Photos, Videos

Capcom’s upcoming new IP, Remember Me, has a bunch of new screens for you to look at. Coming in May to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, Remember Me is about an amnesiac “memory hunter” named Nilin, who is trying to restore her memories in a dystopian version of Paris in the year 2084. Players will use a combination of platforming and four different fighting styles to make their way thru… those combat styles can be combined into custom fighting combos using the game’s “Combo Lab,” which Capcom says features 50,000 possible combinations.

One interesting gameplay mechanic in Remember Me is called “memory remixing,” which lets you enter a target’s memories and manipulate them, thus changing what your target remembers about a specific person, thing, or event.

It’s certainly wild and risky stuff for Capcom, especially since they’re introducing a new IP right before the supposed launch of the next generation of consoles, and also since it features no guns and no deaths… something developer Dontnod says is a risk worth taking to be able to tell the story they want to tell.

We’ve got some screenshots below… you can see the rest, as well as the second of two videos released, right here.
