Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising Now Available for PS3 and PC

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC Pack is now available for PS3 and PC gamers to download. The Uprising DLC already released for Xbox 360 at an earlier date, but it is finally available to download on the PlayStation Network and PC. The DLC is priced at $14.99 and includes  four new maps as well as the new Zombies mode, Mob of the Dead.

Mob of the Dead pits players against hordes of zombies in the prison island of Alcatraz. Who better to voice the four new Prohibition-era mobster characters than Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, and Joe Pantoliano, some of Hollywood’s most iconic mobster characters.

On Alcatraz, Billy Handsome (Liotta), Al “The Weasel” Arlington (Pantoliano), Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca (Palminteri), and Michael “Finn” O’Leary (Madsen),  realize that being in prison is the least of their worries when they’re trapped on an island with prisoners and guards turned flesh eating zombies.

Aside from Mob of the Dead, Uprising will include four new maps set in locations around the globe. Including Studio, a re-imagining of the fan-favorite Black Ops map, Firing Range.

  • Magma – Set within a modern Japanese village, where volcanic eruptions carve multiple paths throughout the town.
  • Encore – Takes place in the aftermath of a deserted London music festival.
  • Vertigo – A futuristic high-rise mega-structure located in India featuring dizzying vistas and multi-tiered pathways.
  • Studio – A contemporary re-imagining of “Firing Range,” the fan-favorite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. “Studio” is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.

As stated earlier, Uprising is available to download for $14.99 on Ps3 and PC. Down below you’ll find a behind the scenes look at the Black Ops 2 “The Replacer,” or in this case, “The Replacers” now that there’s a sidekick.
