Activision has released a preview of the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Revolution, the first batch of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, hits the Xbox Live Marketplace today with four all-new multiplayer maps, a new co-op map and new mode for the Zombies mode, and a new weapon, the Peacekeeper SMG, for use exclusively in online multiplayer. The trailer released today gives a look at the new maps and features.
The new Zombies mode, Turned, allows you to hunt down your friends as a zombie… it’s basically everybody against a lone human character. One that person falls, whoever killed them gets to play as the human; only the human earns points in what sounds like a really fun spin on “King of the Hill.”
On the Hydro map, you do battle in a hydroelectric dam facility in Pakistan. For Downhill, you face off at a ski lodge in Montreal. Mirage creates a desert battle at a sandy oasis, while Grind takes place at a skate park in Venice Beach, California. Check out the gallery for a closer look. While Revolution is available now for Xbox 360, Activision promises other consoles and PC will get the content at a later date. It’s $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points) or you can get it through the Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC Season Pass.
