Call of Duty's Labor Day Fundraising Campaign Helps Veterans Find Jobs

Call of Duty Endowment and Microsoft announced their Labor Day campaign to support Military Veterans finding jobs.

Gamers across the country can donate to the Call of Duty Endowment on their Xbox 360 and receive a special theme for donating to the fundraiser. Doing this aids military veterans and helps them find meaningful jobs.

The theme received for donating to the Endowment was designed by artist Jason Heuser, who featured George Washington as the star of the theme. Again, the theme is available on the Xbox 360 in the Xbox Live Marketplace, purchasable by donation to the Call of Duty Endowment.

“Thanks to Microsoft and Xbox, we have an incredible opportunity to not only raise money for the Endowment, but also to engage millions of gamers in the cause of giving veterans access to high quality careers,” said Dan Goldenberg, executive director of the Call of Duty Endowment. “This campaign is going to help put veterans to work.”

The Endowment helps non-profit organizations connecting veterans with valuable and meaningful jobs. So far there have been over 5,000 job placements! That is awesome.
