Today more maps for the Face-Off game type have been released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The release of this DLC for premium Elite members might be the last for new Face-Off maps. Three new maps for the game type called “Vortex, Intersection and U-Turn” are now available for download. Also, with this DLC a new Special Ops map called “Arctic Recon” is available. - Arctic Recon is the Special Ops map that you are headed to a Russian battleship to destroy by airstrike. You get to fly a recon helicopter to plant beacons for the air strike meant to destroy the ship.
- Vortex is one of the new Face-Off maps that lands you in the danger zone of a tornado.
- U-Turn another new Face-Off map, on a 6 lane gridlocked highway. Perfect for sneaky snipers.
- Intersection the last Face-Off map in this DLC that places you in combat on a New York bridge overpass.
