Starting today the beta for the Call of Duty Elite service on PS3 begins! The beta has been available on the Xbox360 for a couple months now but PS3 Black Ops players can finally get into the mix.
Beta access will be given in stages, with invitations arriving today. The beta will test all the fancy features of the service such as stat tracking, player groups, events, and video sharing. Even more features will come to the service on its official launch date of November 8th with the release of Modern Warfare 3.
Premium members of the Elite service receive all the DLC for Modern Warfare 3 for free. Premium membership is $49.99 a year.
