According to some leaks in France and Mexico, there is some speculation that has been causing uproar in the Call of Duty community. Is Black Ops 2 really in development and is it going to be released this fall? We now that Activision announced that there would be a new Call of Duty title that will release this year, but the title of the game is still unknown.
Spanish website Fnac is known to be one of the first sites to oust the possible new title by placing information about it on their site. Amazon users in France saw Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 listed on the website making this another website that ousted the game by listing it before an announcement was made by the developers.
Of course we all want to jump the gun and start the media rampage about it being Black Ops 2 and hope that it is going to be better than the previous games in the franchise. We will just have to wait and see what the developers announce. Once a factual announcement is made by Activision you can count on The Game Fanatics having your Call of Duty news here first.
