Marvel is taking a page out of Pixar’s book by offering people who buy the Blu-ray/DVD release of ‘The Avengers’ a sneak peek at a brand new film called ‘Item 47’. Item 47 is probably the strangest name I’ve heard for a film in years, and because of my deepbromance with Agent 47 from the Hitman franchise it doesn’t help when trying to disassociate the two.
The plot centers on a young couple who live in a world dominated by villains and super heroes. When suddenly, the couple come into possession of one of the Chitauri weapons from ‘The Avengers’ and decide to use it for a bank robbery. ‘Item 47’ has a very interesting concept and will most likely do ‘okay’ at movie theaters when it’s finally released.
