PS3 and PC owners of Call of Duty: Black Ops II will soon know what their Xbox 360-owning compatriots feel like. Activision and Treyarch announced today that the Revolution map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be coming to PC and the PlayStation Network on February 28th, after enjoying about a month of exclusivity on the Xbox 360. The map pack comes with four new multiplayer maps:
– Hydro: Located in Pakistan, this hydro-electric plant comes complete with a lethal spillway that floods with very little warning.
– Grind: Set in a skate park in Venice Beach (the birthplace of skateboarding!), quarter-pipes and curved surfaces drive players away from easy cover and into intense firefights.
– Downhill: A ski resort in the French Alps, this snowy map is complete with a moving gondola system that can both offer cover and crush you to death.
– Mirage: Located in China’s Gobi Desert, this luxury resort has been ravaged by a sandstorm.
You’ll also get two updates to Zombie mode: a map called “Die Rise” that forces you to fight your way through a crumbling skyscraper, and a new mode called “Turned” that lets everyone find out what it’s like to be a zombie… while you all go after a single player acting as a normal human.
The Revolution DLC pack is $14.99, but it is also included if you get the $49.99 Season Pass that grants you all Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC.
