If you’re looking for me, you better check under the sea, cause that is where you’ll find me enjoying BioShock on my Xbox One.
Aaron Greenberg, the head of Xbox Games, announced via his Twitter that BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Inifnite are now backwards compatible. The news isn’t too surprising considering that a remastered collection was released for the Xbox One back in September.
BOOM we just hit over 300 Back Compat tiltes now on @Xbox One! Big news today for @bioshock! #MerryX♏️as pic.twitter.com/OUonFSjHQm

Of note is that with the release of the BioShock franchise, there are now over 300 Xbox 360 titles playable on Xbox One. Kudos to the team for all of their hard work to ensure our beloved classics still have the chance to see some love. Per Phil Spencer, there are a lot of people grateful for that hard work.
Now over 300 back compat titles. Nearly 50% of XB1 owners playing BC games is great to see. Thanks for supporting the program.

Here’s to hoping Microsoft continues to expand their backwards compatible line-up. As great as remasters are, sometimes you don’t want to buy new versions of games you already own.
What Xbox 360 game were you waiting to become backwards compatible?
