Battlefield 4 Will Receive Future Content According to DICE

As Battlefield 4‘s latest DLC craze is slowly coming to a halt after its initial release on November 18th, it seems DICE has plans for even more future multiplayer content.

The next installment in the series, Battlefield Hardline, won’t be here for a while. As a thank you to the fans, DICE is adamant in giving back to the community in order to see fans filled with content well into the new year as they await the next cop-and-robbers themed Battlefield game.

“With Battlefield 4 Final Stand released, we hope and believe that you will enjoy it together with the rest of the game for a long time,” said DICE in the latest Battlelog update. “However, there is one thing we want to assure you: there is more content coming for Battlefield 4.”

The developer noted that details on the upcoming update will arrive when the time is right and “in the near future.” In the meantime, DICE is hosting a rather awesome poll which asks fans of the series to cast their vote on which classic Battlefield multiplayer maps players would want reimagined in Battlefield 4.

Battlefield 4 Map

If this is any indication of what’s to come, we can only suspect that the top batch of maps will be coming to Battlefield 4 through a future downloadable expansion pack. Whether that expansion pack will be covered through the Premium service or contain a fair share of achievements/trophies, well, we’ll just need to wait and see.

For now, head on over here to cast your votes. There’s plenty – literally over 150 maps – to choose from and multiple choices are permissible! Go on, cast your votes!
