To celebrate Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Rocket League is getting the 2016 Batmobile in the latest car pack for just $1.99.
Those who purchase the Dark Knight’s vehicle will also get three antenna flags, each representing the main characters of the latest super-powered blockbuster: Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.
Rocket League has been a wild success since its launch last year on PlayStation 4 and PC. It has earned over 100 game of the year awards, including our Independent Game of 2015. Developer Psyonix recently announced that their sales have hit 10 million+ copies, with 6 million of those sales coming from PlayStation Plus and nearly 3 million coming from Steam sales. Since then, word of mouth has been able to spread and fuel the motor-powered sports title to new heights. Its popularity has lead to involvement with both Major League Gaming (MLG) and Electronic Sports League (ESL) as an established eSports title.
While this may be the game’s first foray into movie marketing, it is no slouch when it comes to downloadable content. Psyonix has provided a slew of content, ranging from cosmetic changes to new game modes to new maps to the DeLorean. They have even provided content based on holidays and special events. This time, they’re offering the caped crusader’s car, which has been modeled after its latest iteration in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Unfortunately, however, it looks like the grappling hook and ejector seat is not included.
Deliver your form of justice with this DLC March 8th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
