From the team that brought you Batman: Arkham Origins, comes a download only HD port of the portable Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate. Previously only available on the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, this version will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC to for $20 and will be available April 1st. Reviews of Blackgate were mixed to poor, but hopefully the upscaling gives the team a change to fix and enhance a few things. The new edition features a new map & hint system for improved navigation and objective tracking, 5.1 surround sound, and a fully voiced narrative.
Blackgate takes place after the events of Origins and features Batman inside the nefarious Blackgate Prison after riots have reduced the place to anarchy. So, typical Batman story, but let’s face it Batman doesn’t need an excuse to punch bat guys. He’s Batman, they exist.
