Assassin’s Creed III Liberation‘s latest developer diary gives viewers a deeper look at Aveline’s upcoming adventure on the PlayStation Vita. AC3 Liberation is set to release October 30 2012, and the team at UbiSoft is looking to bring a full console experience to PlayStation‘s handheld.
Partner Studios and UbiSoft Montreal have been working together to make Assassin’s Creed III Liberation as large in scope, and deep as its console counterparts. Aveline d Grandpre is Assassin’s Creed first female protagonist and will bring a fresh take on the struggle between the Templar’s and Assassin’s. Aveline’s adventure takes place in 18th Century Louisiana, slavery was still in existence and is part of the economic backdrop.
Aveline will bring some new weapons to the Assassin’s Creed arsenal, including a blow pipe and whip. The developer diary also hints at Aveline’s meet up with Conner, Assassin’s Creed III‘s protagonist, but did not want to spoil the surprise as to what will occur.
Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation releases October 30, 2012 exclusively for the PlayStation Vita.
