Arts, and Farts, and Crafts!

Crafting is good for the soul. Video games are bliss. I’ve compiled a list of awesome instructables that combine these two wonderful things.

Want to step up your entertaining game or wow your Nintendo loving friend with some powered-up cupcakes? Click on over to the handy walk-through on instructables.com

Kirby’s Epic Yarn is the kind of thing you wish crossed over into the real world to spread its adorable cheer. Surprise! It happened. And you can make it happen in your life too with, of course, some yarn (and some felt, some glue, and some scissors). Just follow these step-by-step instructions.

Okay, this next one is a little scary. Minesweeper pillows. Um… minesweeper is about bombs. Well, these pillows don’t actually explode. (Whew!) They are, however, wired for explosion sounds! Crazy. Try it out as part of your own home safety situation.

This instructable is great if you want to give an inexpensive geeky gift. This is a more personalized twist on the last minute box of chocolates. In this very special episode we use what is sold as a space invaders ice tray to create bite-sized space invaders chocolates!

I have the space invaders tray (but I got it a while ago in a random shop in Boston), I plan to try this.

If you can’t find that specific tray, this Tetris one is nice. You could use varying darknesses (is that a word?) of chocolate for the blocks to simulate the different color blocks.

Lastly, these are awesome and exciting. So much so that I can’t sit still to build up to them: Bam! LEGO GUMMIES!

Now, the person responsible for the tutorial also made the silicone mold for their Lego gummies. This instructable is a double whammy because you learn to make the gummies and a mold (step 4)!

The hard part will be deciding what to make first!
