AION 3.0 Update

AION hasn’t been resting on its laurels lately. No, in fact, 3.0, the latest update, is packed full of features for both rookie and veteran players.  Check after the break for all the latest info from AION‘s 3.0 expansion!

If you haven’t tried AION yet and are worried about catching up to some of the more experienced players, worry not, because a new mount is being added to the game to help you get around the gameworld all the easier! While it won’t make your character any stronger, it will make you look fancy and help you turn in quests faster, which is what really counts.

For veterans of AION, two brand new areas are being added to the game for level 55 and up called Sarpan and Tiamaranta. Sarpan is activated by an individual campaign quest and includes neutral territories as well as free PvP zones.  It’s said to be ” filled with strong opponents who drop lucrative rewards.”  Tiamaranta can be reached through Kamar City and is made for the PvP enthusiasts in the 58 to 60 level range and features fortresses that either side can capture.

Oh, right, the level cap is being increased to 60 in case my last paragraph didn’t give it away.

So now that AION has been free-to-play, why not check it out or dive back in with the new update due this summer?
