Activision spared no expense in showing folks how to have a good time at their event last night. There were also about 5,000 attendees at the Staple Center in LA to participate in the festivities.
The event was deemed more of a party then a presser or event of sorts. Below is some of what went on last night.
Performers included; Usher, DJ Z-Trip, Dead Mau5, Jane’s Addiction, Been Caught Stealing, Rihanna, Eminem, David Guetta, Soundgarden with the LA Philharmonic, Maynard from Tool sang Bohemian Rhapsody, N.E.R.D., with Travis Barker on drums.
Now as for video games being shown while the musicians played were: DJ Hero 2, Guitar Hero: Megadeth, Tony Hawk: Shred, True Crime: Hong Kong.
Let’s hope they sober up a little and bring some more goodies on the show floor and maybe at an actually presser.
The cost of Eminem to perform= $250,000 dollars
Strippers, fireworks, flames, explosions, stuff blowing up, tons of singing, dancing, a giant cock thing, the whole nine yards = $5-6 million dollars
The publicity it will cause amongst the crowd (gamers, journalists, businessmen, and everybody alike) at E3 2010 = PRICELESS
When you want to make more noise than everybody else without actually showing a lot, there’s Activision. Sold everywhere that accepts money…lol
