Ace Attorney 5 is getting a new name and finally we have a better idea on when it will launch!
Dual Destinies takes place eight years later and Phoenix is back on the case with both new and familiar faces. Apollo Justice returns and Phoenix is assisted by Associate Attorney, Athena Cykes. In the Japan verison of the game, Athena is known as Kizuki Kokone. She has the ability to read a person’s emotions with the help of her natural ability and a necklace that she wears around her neck that brings a new game mode to Ace Attorney series, Mood Matrix, formally known as Heart’s Testimony. By using Athena’s ability, you’ll be able to listen to the beating heart of the witness in the stand to fish out the lies and get to the truth. In order to the discover the truth, you will have to filter out all outside noises and distractions. You will see four faces on the Nintendo 3DS screen which represent four different emotions that you will have to dig out the emotional differences that will eventually lead to a clue for the case at hand. The game itself takes place a year after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.
