A Revamped Epic Mickey to be at E3

Epic Mickey was first shown in Game Informer issue 199 back in November of 2009. It stars, of course, Micky Mouse but also a character that Walt Dinsye first created, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald didn’t have the same star power as Mickey and hasn’t really seen the light of day since. Could this be one of the reason why Oswald will be appearing in Epic Mickey?

When Epic Mickey’s in-game graphics were reveled, many fans were not pleased with it. Since that time, it seems Disney Interactive Studios has listened to gamers on this and has changed the way the game looks in-game. Hopefully these changes will be more towards the concept art than some bizarre stiff character design. It’s great to see that at least some companies out there are willing to listen to the fans on what we like and what we think will look good.

Epic Mickey is a one-player game and is set to be released sometime in the fall of 2010 on the Wii and is being devolved by Junction Point. They are based out of Houston. Texas and have been working on Epic Mickey since 2007.
