MTV.com just released the first trailer for SAVAGES, a Universal Studios film based on a New York Times best-selling crime novel by Don Winslow. SAVAGES stars: Blake Lively as Ophelia the seductive mate of Ben and Chon two successful marijuana distributors played by Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch. The cast is joined by Jon Travolta a DEA agent and Salma Hayek and Benicio Del Toro the leader and enforcer of the Mexican Baja Cartel.

SAVAGES was directed by Oliver Stone who has given us films such as: Platoon, JFK, Natural Born Killers and Born on the Fourth of July.
As most cinematic portrayals of three way romances go SAVAGES starts with love and is quickly followed by drama and chaos. Ben graduated from Berkley and majored in Business and Botany allowing him to create a self-made marijuana industry with his tough guy, former Navy SEAL friend Chon and their sultry girlfriend O (Ophelia). When the Mexican Baja Cartel tries to buy them out and they refuse a savage war of wills befalls them all.
This July, SAVAGES comes to theaters.
