At Emerald City Comicon, Dark Horse Comics announced that they will be publishing The Art of Portal 2, a book featuring the art of Valve’s hit puzzle/shooter Portal 2. The book includes concept art, and takes the reader on the process from original idea to game implementation. It will be 184 pages and hardcover. There’s some really beautiful art. It also has commentary from the designers, character creation, how Chell (and the rest of the cast) were created. Perfect for the Portal 2 fan. Which should be everybody. It’s that good of a game. But you already knew that, right?
The Art of Portal 2 will be available October 31, 2012, and no price tag has been announced. But that doesn’t matter. You’re going to pick it up regardless, right? Right?
