EA have decided that Tiger Woods needs a partner for the next installment in the well established golf series, rather than pick themselves they’ve left it up to the fans to decide.
Using a bracket style competition, fans can vote between various established professionals to share the cover with the famous Mr. Woods. The competition itself is split into European and North American, reflecting the different box art for each region. The choices are as follows:
North American players: Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Hunter Mahan, Rocco Mediate and Bubba Watson.
European players: Paul Casey, Luke Donald, Ross Fisher,Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy, Edoardo Molinari,Ian Poulter and Justin Rose.
It’s an interesting move from EA, especially following the re-naming of the most recent title to ‘Masters‘. Regardless it poses an interesting oppertunity for fans to pick their favourite Pro to join the illustrious Tiger Woods.
