Looks like Red Dead Redemption is doing better for Rockstar then any of us thought, as they have confirmed reports that they have pulled out of E3 this year.
A Rockstar rep has been making the rounds, with a news release that the company has decided that LA Noire and Max Payne 3 are to be shown outside the LA event at a later date.
This comes after reports that one of the fella’s over at Game reactor received an email from someone with a list of what would be shown at E3. Suffice to say that it is indeed a fake but with a tweet from Nuts associate editor Rory Buckeridge, saying himself that Rockstar has pulled out of “launching” a title at E3 in two weeks time.
The missive goes like this:
“And Rockstar have pulled their E3 game launch. Oopsie.”
Are guess’s are as good as yours as to the real reasons but this is enough for fans to make up their own mind as to why they actually pulled out.
