Redbox Announces Video Games Rentals Starting June 17th!

Redbox has announced via press release that they will be offering video game rentals starting June 17, 2011, at 21,000 Redbox locations across the country. Video game fanatics will probably be up in arms over this announcement, like I am.

After testing the service out at over 5,000 locations for the past 2 years, Redbox will feature titles across three major platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. The rental catalog will feature many of today’s top titles along side games for the kids and family. The video game rentals will be prices at $2.00 a day, along side the $1 DVDs and $1.50 Blu-Ray rentals.

“Redbox will make discovering the latest games as easy as a trip to the local grocery, convenience or drug store.” – Joel Resnik, Vice President of gaming, Redbox

With over 27,000 kiosks in the U.S., including various McDonalds and convenient store locations, Redbox is quickly becoming your one-stop shop for all your entertainment needs.
