NetherRealms Studios character reveal this week led to the Injustice 2 Darkseid Gameplay Trailer.
The ruler of Apokolips was shown in a stage transition in the previous iteration, Injustice: Gods Among Us, as well as the mobile version as an unlockable character via special event.
Fans who preorder Injustice 2 will have the chance to play as Darkseid. Whether he will be locked to pre-order or released as DLC later on is still be to determined.

Injustice 2 is slated for release on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Multiple editions of the game hold various bonuses. Many of these are different shaders and skins that allow you to transform fighters into alternate characters. Additionally, preregistration has just opened for the mobile version of Injustice 2. Players who preregister will unlock Catwoman for free when the game launches.
