Mysterious Tweet May Have Unofficially Announced Skate 4

Skate 4

A tweet from one of the senior community managers on EA may have something to do with the future announcement of Skate 4.

#Skate4. This is the mysterious tweet that Daniel Lingen, senior manager of the EA Community Engagement team, dropped a few days ago. Does this mean that EA is finally taking that skating journey? We still do not know for certain and a more official confirmation is properly due here.

However, this tweet certainly has given hope to all Skate fans out there. The internet does not forget and this tweet has glimmered exactly in the eyes of the hopeful.

Skate 4: Preparing for its Arrival?

A tweet may be everything that we have about the next installment of the series. But if we look at how EA has been treating Skate 3 recently, maybe this can give us already another hint about its possible revamp. For instance, back in November, EA added Skate 3 to the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility catalog. Moreover, just a few days ago we mentioned that EA was adding more titles to their Vault. One of those that may arrive in the near future is, no surprise ahead, Skate 3.

The Skate series has been in a sort of limbo since the last title got released in 2010. Referred by Xbox boss Phil Spencer as a “key game,” it would seem that EA is preparing for its possible arrival. Definitely a title to keep under your radar if you are into skate gaming!
