In addition to the PlayStation 4 Slim and their recently announced PlayStation 4 Pro, Sony just recently announced a fancy new color for their console. That color is the aptly named Glacier White PlayStation 4.
Courtesy of a fancy YouTube trailer alongside an official announcement on their blog we know what this new model will include. The new console will be white, obviously, and be based on the PlayStation 4 Slim model. It will have a 500 GB hard drive and will also come bundled with a white Dualshock 4 controller.
As for those in North America and Europe getting ready to open your wallets, curb your expectations. This console will be coming out in the PAL regions on January 24th and there appears to be no plans by Sony to release it in other regions at this time. There are also no plans for a Glacier White PlayStation 4 Pro at the time of writing.
So if you live in Australia and enjoy your consoles in a pristine white color, mark your calendars!
