Season passes for video games are becoming the norm these days. One was announced just last week for Rise of the Tomb Raider and it looks like EA is following the same path this week.
EA has announced a season pass for Star Wars: Battlefront. This news comes a few days after the game’s beta launched. The beta included platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The season pass will cost gamers $50 and will include 4 expansion packs after the game’s release and a “Shoot First” emote. Those who purchase the season pass will gain access to each expansion pack 2 weeks before everyone else. The season pass will feature different locations as EA states that the season pass will be “filled with new content that will take you to new locations across a galaxy far, far away.”
Star Wars: Battlefront will also feature an Ultimate Edition that will include content of the Deluxe Edition and the game’s season pass. The Ultimate Edition will be priced at $120, which makes sense since the Deluxe Edition for the game will cost you $70.
The game’s launch is getting closer and closer with a release date of November 17.
