Xbox’s E3 Press Conference brought many game announcements, but the biggest one for Xbox was the announcement of Halo‘s Master Chief Collection. Many gamers expected an announcement of a Halo 2: Anniversary at E3 2014 to celebrate its tenth year since its release, especially with the recent rumors, however the Master Chief Collection will bring more than expected.
The Master Chief Collection will include:
- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
- Halo 2 Anniversary – Completely remastered
- Halo 3
- Halo 4
This collection will be available November 11 with no information on pricing yet. These games will all run at 60 fps and 1080p.
The Master Chief Collection will also come with the beta for 2015’s Halo: Guardians and the new live-action digital film Halo: Nightfall, that will follow in the footsteps of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn with it releasing in weekly episodes.
