CES 2014 | Digital Storm Announces Bolt II Hybrid Gaming PC

Digital Storm made waves at CES today by announcing the Bolt II: a high performance, gaming PC that is designed for the hardcore computer gamers that demand the best gaming experience. The Bolt II is a small form factor (SFF) and Steam machine, making it a hybrid gaming PC.  Being the first ever liquid cooling Steam machine, the Bolt II combines both Steam OS and Windows, giving gamers a range of games to get their hands on.

“We (Digital Storm) are not looking to compete with console pricing … We’re taking aim at the high end of the market, targeting consumers that demand the best possible gaming experience and who are looking for a PC capable of playing any title on their new 4K display.” – Rajeev Kuruppu, Director of Product Development [Digital Storm]

Bolt II features include:

  • Slim tower of power
  • Advanced thermal design
  • Upgrade friendly
  • Engineered in-house
  • Intelligent airflow control
  • Exclusive control software

With a sleek design and advanced specs, the Bolt II is the most efficient SFF computer available.  How? Because it contains a 240-mm radiator that cools the overclocked processor, which reduces the system’s temperature drastically.  The Bolt II also uses HydroLux which monitors the system’s temperature in real time and automatically creates a perfect balance between thermals and noise.

The Bolt II will be available for purchase at the end of January starting at $1,899.
