Street Fighter Returns with Ultra Street Fighter IV

This past weeknd at EVO 2013, Capcom officially announced that Street Fighter would be returning with Ultra Street Fighter IV. The popular fighting game franchise will be returning to consoles on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC. For players worried about having to pay full retail for what is conceivably only an expansion, don’t fret. Those who already own Street Fighter IV and/or Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will be able to download Ultra Street Fighter IV as a digital upgrade for the price of $14.99. For players who do not own either version of the game they can pick up Ultra Street Fighter IV for a full retail price of $39.99 and the game will come complete with all previous costume DLC released for the series.

In Ultra Street Fighter IV, Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento, and a secret all-new playable character will join the roster of existing Street Fighter IV roster. That will bring up the total tally of fighters to 44. Ultra will also come with six new environments. Capcom also stated that with the feedback taken from the community, Ultra Street Fighter IV will be the most balanced Street Fighter title to date.

Ultra Street Fighter IV will be releasing for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in early 2014.
