No Man’s Sky is, without a doubt, the biggest disappointment of 2016 and Sean Murray is the face of that disappointment.
The Hello Games founder went from pre-release hype train/launch day excitement to radio silence. His Twitter account, @NoMansSky, has been silent since August 18th. Until now, that is.
The developer’s official Twitter account, @hellogames, Tweeted out the following:
It was later deleted as the company’s Twitter had been hacked. Since then, though, Sean Murray’s Twitter has been pretty active.
Server hacked. We’re binging Mr Robot Episodes as quickly as we can looking for answers. Ep05 is a cracker

If anything was a mistake, it was using Linked In without 2FA.

.@hellogames are you still hacked and stuff?

.@NoMansSky 100% not hacked anymore… obviously those mails and that tweet were fake. Back to work 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Again, this is the first line of communication we’ve seen from Sean Murray in over two months. At least we know he’s alive. No word on if he’s doing anything to, you know, add in content to the game he promised the world on.
