ZombieU was one of the premier titles that helped the WiiU really make a strong entry into the market. It made excellent use of the new platforms unique features, and was generally considered a simply “good game”. With that, it may interest some of you that a ZombieU sequel, ZombieU 2 may be in the works. Ubisoft has announced that the tentative sequel, currently known literally as ZombieU 2, is in the “prototype phase” of development. What that means is that they’re toying around with the idea, but it’s not far enough along to say whether or not this game will ever see a public release.
Still though, for you ZombieU fans, it’s better than nothing. It shows that Ubisoft is aware that a sequel would garner some interest among consumers.
