Xbox One July Update Available This Week

Now that we’re into the month of July, Microsoft is ready start rolling out the Xbox One July update. Xbox Live’s Major Nelson went to his blog to share the details on the new update.

This update brings you double tap to snap, more voice controls, and achievement snap.

Achievements Snap will allow you to see your achievements as you play, rather than backing out of your game to view them, as you did before. You will be able to track each achievement and see how close you are to unlocking them. For you achievement fanatics, this update brings you a feature that will allow you to get help with finishing an achievement you are trying to complete.

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson included a video fully explaining the features of the new Achievement Snap.

My favorite feature though is the ability to select any achievement I’m struggling with and choose to get help. I simply select an achievement and Xbox One reaches out to the web for tips and strategy content, delivering it right to my TV.

The Xbox One July update will be available this week. Are you excited for the new features coming to Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below!
