WWE 2K14 Fan Cover Contest Results in Daniel Bryan Cover

Say it with me: YES! YES! YES! YES! 2K announced Thursday that the two winners of their fan cover contest, which was an opportunity for fans to create their own alternate cover for WWE 2K14, which features Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on the standard edition of the game, both picked the hottest star in the WWE right now: Daniel Bryan.

“We were blown away by not just the amount of contest entries received, but the overall creativity and quality of them as well,” said Chris Snyder, Senior Director of Marketing at 2K. “Both entries really captured the style and tone of WWE 2K14, and we are pleased to feature Daniel Bryan and these designs as part of our final product at retail.”

The winning entries, by Mike Rodriguez of Corona, CA and Alexis Zankowitch of Saint-Martin-le-Vinoux, France, will be packed inside all regular copies of WWE 2K14 (which version of the cover you get will depend on where you live) when it ships on October 29th for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version has been rumored, but not confirmed.

A special “Phenom Edition” of WWE 2K14 will feature a coffin-shaped box, special DLC and controller skins based on WWE Superstar The Undertaker, a copy of the Ultimate Warrior pre-order DLC bonus, and an autograph from The Undertaker himself.
