Wuppo Jumps To Consoles This Summer

Wuppo

After a successful PC release last September, publisher SOEDESCO will be bringing Knuist & Perzik’s 2D action platformer Wuppo to PS4 and Xbox One this summer.

This cute and humorous platformer stars an exiled Wum on a quest to find a new home. As the ousted little Wum, players will travel through a unique and charming world. Along the way, they’ll encounter strange creatures such as Fnakkers and Splenkhakkers. Players will need to solve puzzles, topple monsters (from small to massively huge) and make it through political chaos.

The unique world features a handful of environments. Players will travel through the metropolitan haven dubbed Popocity and the more primal, cavern-like Bliekopolis all with their own odd inhabitants. Solving puzzles will require various items found throughout the Wum’s adventure as well as his social skills. For the completionist, there are a handful of filmstrips to collect that fill in the world’s history.

Since last year’s PC release, Wuppo has been praised by media and players alike due to its unique art style and humorous gameplay, among other things. The game currently averages an 80 on Metacritic for the PC version; which bodes well for this summer’s console release. Expect SOEDESCO to pinpoint the exact release date in the near future.
