The first episode of Blizzard Entertainment’s newest pre-expansion animated series is now live. Shadowlands Afterlives showcases famous figures from each of the four Covenants that players can choose to join in World of Warcraft’s eighth expansion, Shadowlands. Shadowlands Afterlives: Bastion shows what happens to the famous Paladin Uther Lightbringer after his death. Three more videos are set to follow shortly after:
September 3 – Shadowlands Afterlives: Maldraxxus
September 10 – Shadowlands Afterlives: Ardenweald
September 17 – Shadowlands Afterlives: Revendreth

The newest expansion for World of Warcraft is set to release October 26, 2020. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands tasks players with journeying to the afterlife in order to prevent The Banshee Queen’s plot to destroy all life on Azeroth. Players will work together with grand heroes from the game’s past and meet many new allies as well.
