After Friday’s earning report that didn’t turn out so well, Nintendo revealed that it will be launching the Wii U in the US, Europe, and Japan “for the year-end season.”
Now as long as Nintendo picks the right price and has some great launch games like a new Mario, things should come around for them.
The holiday timing of this all bodes very well for Nintendo’s chances of having a great launch and perhaps even repeating some of the chaos of the Wii’s launch. This is coupled with the earlier release than the next Xbox and PlayStation. Then again, the Dreamcast was also early to market…
