What's new on the Wii

Nintendo has announced today’s newest game additions to the Wii Shop and DSi Shop. Below are the new WiiWare and DSiWare games you’ll find online, starting at 9am PST:

WiiWare releases:

Gods vs Humans
– 1200 Wii Points ($12)
Mix Superstar – 500 Wii Points ($5)

DSiWare releases:
GO Series Pinball Attack! – 500 DSi Points ($5)
Adventure in Vegas: Slot Machine – 200 DSi Points ($2)
Discolight – 200 DSi Points ($2)

Purchase the Wii and DSi downloadable games using a Nintendo Points Card (available here), or using a credit card on the Wii Shop or DSi Shop online.

Whether you remembered to set your clocks back for daylight saving time or spent Sunday wondering why everybody else was running an hour behind, Nintendo is ready to kick off the week with new releases that can be enjoyed no matter what time it is. Additions to the WiiWare™ service include Gods vs Humans, a strategy game that challenges you to wield divine powers, and Mix Superstar, which invites you to craft your own pop-music masterpieces. You’ll also find new downloadable titles for the Nintendo DSiWare™ service that let you experience pinball-themed adventures or vie for giant jackpots in Las Vegas.

Gods vs Humans

Description: Embody major gods from the fabulous mythologies of Scandinavia, Egypt, Rome and Japan. As a god, you have enough power to rule the humans – all but the cheeky ones! Some of them want to enter your domain, and they’ve decided to build a tower to confront you. Use your divine powers to bring them down and show them who’s boss. Be careful not to hurt them, though – you need people to believe in you. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo DSi Shop and the Wii Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Mondays. Users with broadband Internet access can redeem Wii Points or Nintendo DSi Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo DSi Points can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Nintendo Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one Nintendo Points Card must be redeemed in either the Nintendo DSi Shop or the Wii Shop Channel. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.
