What We Played During Week 15

Welcome to Press Start (What We Played)! This is a weekly segment that dives into what we here at The Game Fanatics have played during this past week. What did you game?

Jeff: Like most of us, I’ve been busy with Bioshock Infinite. Unlike most of us, I’ve been playing with the PS Move. It’s a beautifully designed game that I feel privileged to have played in its time, and a game absolutely no one should miss, thumbsticks or otherwise.

Enis: I got some Halo 4 in this week. On Tuesday I picked up Defiance, the new MMO. So far I love it, except the server issues. There’s so many people playing it lags and crashes on occasion. It’s gotten better since launch due to maintenance. Captivating MMO to hold me over until Destiny.

Arnell: Picked up Batman: Arkham City – Armored Edition for $20 and have been playing it nonstop. Definitely worth the 20 bucks and now I know firsthand why others really like it. I beat it with only 55% and am trying to do as much as I can or get 100% before Injustice comes out since that’s the next new game I’ll be getting.

Darrin: Spending more time with Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC), ditched the stealthy approach and now using a “KILL ALL THE GUYS” strategy. Also still working thru Zelda: Skyward Sword, and playing the Injustice demo over and over and over.

Henry: Persona 4 Golden! The 8 hour drive during my move really gave me some more quality time with my Vita and Persona has me hooked. Now that I’m finally in one spot I’ve finally had time to sit down and beat Bioshock Infinite, which is definitely my frontrunner for GOTY (The Last of Us is going to really have to deliver to beat it out). I also dabbled with The Cave, a quite charming little game that everyone should check out especially with it being free for PS+ members right now.

Jen: Tried to get as much SWTOR in as I could since this past weekend was the final double exp weekend. I almost got my Trooper to 50, but only managed to get her to level 46, so close. I downloaded the first episode of The Walking Dead for XBLA, you know, the one that Game of the Year for 2012. After playing the first episode I had to play more. I am highly enjoying it and the choices that need to be made in the game. I have two episodes to finish before the end. Grabbed my 3DS and played a little bit of New Super Mario Bros. 2.
