What We Played December 30 – January 5

Welcome to Press Start! This is a weekly segment that dives into what we here at The Game Fanatics are currently playing. Feel free to leave a comment with what you’ve been playing or if you have any questions about the games that we are currently involved with.

Enis: I’ve pretty much only played Halo 4. Trying to do my best in the Infinity Challenge (Still currently in Tier 2) and working at that cameo role. That’s it. Bring it on!

Jeff: With Mass Effect trilogy on PS3, I’ve finally gotten to playing these games. I’m up to Mass Effect 2, and it’s fantastic. They’re far from perfect, but the depth of the universe and branching dialogue is keeping me very hooked.

Darrin: Got Assassin’s Creed III for Christmas, so I’ve been spending my time in Colonial days. I’m a history buff so I’m enjoying that aspect, but the game almost feels a bit slow compared to Ezio’s campaigns in the previous three installments.

Joel: Back on my Old Republic binge and I have jumped back into DC Universe Online. And cannot forget my GOTY NBA 2K13 and the ever addicting MyPlayer mode.

Jen: Finally started up the Trooper arc in SWTOR and I am loving it! Got some 3DS gaming in with TheAtRhythm Final Fantasy.

Ben: This week has been all about Far Cry 3. It’s pretty damn good. I mean, it lets you release bears that then run wild and attack everyone. And you can light everything on fire. What else could you want?
