I hope your wallet is fat, because this week is going to be a killer on it. Let’s jump right into it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360, PC, PS3) The 2011 version of the “most anticipated game of all time” hits shelves finally and plans to smash all kinds of sales records. We imagine we’ll end the Modern Warfare story arc, but chances are, you’re only getting this for the multiplayer to record some kill cams to your friends and pretend you’re a boss.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) Move over, Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo is the new cover athlete. While Ronaldo may not be as talented on the field, ladies, you know you’re drooling over his presence. The 2012 version of the game doesn’t feature major changes over the 2011 version, but instead subtle tweaks to create a better experience. Though I know some women who think Ronaldo on the cover is the only change the game needed.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Xbox 360, PC, PS3) The “most anticipated game of all time” of 2011 part deux. Bethesda has scrapped their engine from Oblivion and added in dragons. Dragons. If that alone can’t get you excited, I don’t know what will. I’m ready to give up 300 hours of my life.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (Xbox 360, PS3) Enjoy Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker? Now you can play them in glorious HD! Are you a loyal Xbox owner? Now you can play them for the first time ever! It’s a bit confusing as to why Metal Gear Solid isn’t a part of the game, granted we somewhat recently saw a remake of it with Twin Snakes.
