Watch: Musical Action-Adventure Figment Gets New Trailer

Figment Musical Adventure

You may or may not be familiar with Bedtime Digital Games, the indie developer behind the critically-acclaimed 2014 game Back to Bed. If you’ve never heard of that game, you can check it out here. Either way, you should absolutely take the time to watch the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming title, Figment.

The beautiful hand-drawn world of this musical action-adventure is actually the inner recesses of a human mind. A mind that is apparently troubled, and is becoming consumed by fear. Players will take on the role of Dusty, this mind’s former voice of courage, as he tries to rid his world of the encroaching terror. Not your everyday video game story. Watching the trailer was reminiscent of games like Bastion. We can only hope Figment can deliver a performance worthy of the comparison.

“We’re really excited to finally show Figment to the public,” said Bedtime Digital Games CEO Klaus Pedersen in a press release. “We poured our heart and soul in this game to go above and beyond what we did with Back to Bed instead of staying in our comfort zone.”

Promising clever puzzles and enjoyable combat, Figment is definitely a game to keep an eye on. We will bring you more information on the game as it becomes available. Figment releases on PC and major consoles later this year.
