Watch Dogs 2 Shines in New Gameplay Video

Watch Dogs 2

In this new gameplay video, Ubisoft showcases the upcoming Watch Dogs 2 – free roaming, enhanced gameplay mechanics, multiplayer and even a cool drone.

Ubisoft has just shared a brand new gameplay video for Watch Dogs 2. This time, they are letting us watch 20 full minutes of free and extensive roaming through sunny San Francisco Bay, getting a better idea of the full experience that awaits us in this highly-awaited sequel. Watch Dogs 2 puts us in the shoes of Marcus, a witty and talented hacker from Oakland, who works under cover to take down the city’s ctOS 2.0 surveillance system.

One of the first things that jump to the eye is the level of detail of the city of San Francisco as Marcus wanders through it, intercepting signals and working his way through. As with any open world game, Watch Dogs 2 allows us to explore the city at our will, visiting and experience every landmark from all possible angles. From Oakland to Silicon Valley, Watch Dogs 2 playground is certainly huge and pulsing with life. We can interact with pretty much each single element thanks to the enhanced hacking systems of our phone. Exploring that environment will reward you with interesting events to follow, selfies included.

Watch Dogs 2: From Hacking to Drone Piloting

Of course, moving through the city is easy. The Ubisoft team has revamped the driving mechanics in order to make them more responsive and intuitive to the majority of players and this clearly shows off here. Another cool thing the trailer showcases is the presence of tactical drones. Whenever a mission requires an extra helping hand, just pull out one of your flying devices to help complete it with style. You can either get a flying drone or the so-called RC Jumper, a sort of mini four-wheeler. They both seem to come in handy quite a lot.

Lats but not least, Marcus encounters various online multiplayer scenarios. In Watch Dogs 2 we can change seamlessly from single-player to multiplayer and enjoy different Co-Op missions. On top of that, the game brings as novelty the Bounty PvP scenarios, an event that teams up 3 players against another one tasked with escaping. Whether you are the hunter or the hunted, these Bounty happenings will surely spice up your stay in San Francisco.

Watch Dogs 2 is deploying all its hacking systems on November 15 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Here in The Game Fanatics we are quite hyped for it and we’ll make sure to cover the latest news for you.
