The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere Available for DISH Customers Without AMC

Just over one week away from returning to AMC, The Walking Dead has its fans crawling with anticipation for the premiere of the show’s third season.

Fortunately, DISH subscribers who were recently deprived of the cable network won’t have to stand by as others eat up the highly awaited debut on October 14.

DISH ditched AMC and its sister networks (IFC, WE tv, and Sundance Channel) at the beginning of July in an effort to have the upper hand in an isolated legal dispute, much to the dismay of Walking Dead-heads.

“To gain leverage in an unrelated lawsuit, DISH has decided to deny their customers access to AMC shows, including ‘The Walking Dead,’ the series that has shattered basic cable ratings records,” quoted AMC. “Although ‘The Walking Dead’ is the #1 basic cable scripted drama for DISH customers, DISH has stated it has no plans to bring back AMC.”

The specialty channel’s statement went on to encourage former customers to oppose the recent change by making a conversion of their own. “DISH customers who want to watch the entire season at the same time as the rest of the country should switch television providers now…time is running out.”

According to an announcement made by AMC last week, however, it is now throwing their loyal viewers a freshly gnawed bone by giving DISH customers a free, exclusive live stream of the series’ comeback.

Those eager to see the latest installment of what Entertainment Weekly calls the “greatest thriller ever produced for television” can simply sign up here for access. Registered users will be prompted to enter their e-mail at the show’s beginning to embark on fight for survival. No need to avoid your Twitter timeline or Facebook feed until you tune in—the stream will broadcast simultaneously with the TV airing, leaving no room for soul-destroying spoilers.

Season 3 of The Walking Dead is led by its premiere and followed by seven additional one-hour episodes of the survival horror plotline. Andrew Lincoln continues his role as fearless and unapologetic survivor Rick Grimes, who takes his crew through a combination of man vs. undead and man vs. man conflicts until the conclusion, which runs February 2013.

Viewers are undoubtedly awaiting the development of graphic novel familiar Michonne, the newest addition to the TV series. Played by Danai Gurira, the cloaked character appeared at the end of season 2 unexplicably leading two jawless and armless captives by chains.

Fans finding themselves weak from being walker-less since the second season finale won’t remain emaciated from the unveiling of the newest episode. By heading over to http://www.amctv.com, fanatics can fill up on interviews with the cast, photo galleries, show trivia and “Inside The Walking Dead” behind-the-scenes footage.

Perpetuate the undying fandom of the most watched and highest rated scripted drama series by edging past DISH just this once by taking advantage of this free live stream. Satiate your hunger and join the hoard now at http://www.amctv.com/thewalkingdead4dish/.
