Wacom and Microsoft to Create a Better Windows Touch Experience

This week Wacom announced that they will be partnering with Microsoft to create a “touch experience” like no other. The G8 Multi-Touch controller technology is helping the next Windows “touch experience”. Between the efforts of Wacom and Microsoft we can expect ultimate efforts in creating an intuitive computer that supports “touch” technology.

We all know that Wacom is known for intuitive and amazing technology that has brought natural interactive technology to consumers. They are the leading manufacturers of pen tablets, displays and interface solutions. Wacom has advanced in creating devices for digital art, fashion, special effects and designing around the world. Now, they are  providing a new experience with Microsoft to make business and home users excited about the new G8 Multi-Touch technology. “The popularity of touch-centric devices such as smartphones, tablets and even larger surface displays like all-in one desktops, suggests that touch, specifically multi-touch, is becoming the primary user interface,” said Masahiko Yamada, President of Wacom.

The G8 Multi-Touch technology will bring many benefits and features to Windows based PCs. The G8’s capabilities are said to be the latest “state-of-the-art” and “cost effective” system that people in the PC industry can look forward to using. The President of Wacom also mentioned, “By working towards a common goal, Wacom and Microsoft are able to create a touch experience that is natural, responsive and intuitive.  As a result, users will be able to expand their horizons with new levels of computer interaction.”
