Uncharted 4 First Multiplayer DLC is Coming This Week!

Uncharted 4

Naughty Dog has announced that we’ll be getting the first multiplayer DLC for Uncharted 4 on June 29th. It brings new map and weapons and a tad of extra content – and for free!

Brace yourselves, for Uncharted 4’s first multiplayer DLC is coming sooner than expected! This free add-on will arrive next Wednesday already, along with the new patch 1.08 and it promises tons of new features to look forward to.

Included in this pack is a brand new map, new guns, taunts, boosters and skins. On top of that, it includes “updates to Multiplayer that many of you have been asking for”, according to Naughty Dog, in an evident sympathy blink to the community. They are also including custom matches and custom load-out names and an overhaul of the ranked team deathmatch mode.

If you have the time to spare, Naughty Dog will be showcasing this pack of fresh content one day prior and after the release on their Twitch channel. Tune in at twitch.tv/naughtydog on Tuesday, June 28, starting at 11:30 AM PST / 2:30 PM EST, to get a general preview. Tune in at the same hour on Thursday for a deeper explanation of the ranked team deathmatch changes.

Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Roadmap: A Vibrant Path Ahead!

This add-on is the first one from a vibrant multiplayer roadmap prepared for the upcoming months. The Naugty Dog folks certainly want us to keep playing the most competitive aspect of their game and they are pulling a whole bunch of seasonal content up until Spring next year. Best of it is, it’s coming completely free for us!

Each new DLC seems to contain your typical list of new weapons, skins, boosters and vanity items. However, some of them look way juicier, like the Co-Op mode and new maps that are coming during Autumn. We’ll need to wait to see what other interesting things they have in stock for us. As they have already said, they are just scratching the surface. So there may be room for further surprises in the near future.
