Uncharted 3 Multiplayer is Now Free-to-Play

As a token of appreciation to the dedicated fans and players of Uncharted, Naughty Dog has decided to make Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer free-to-play, allowing anyone and everyone to get in on the action!  Available in the PlayStation Store, gamers can now download the multiplayer and immerse themselves  in the wonderful, addictive world of Uncharted multiplayer for as long as they want… for free… starting today!

“To date over 3.5 million people have played in over 37 million matches of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Multiplayer. All Free-to-Play players will become a part of this same player pool of over a half a million passionate players actively playing our game every month. So if you haven’t tried yet, you have no excuse to not be playing one of the most exciting multiplayer experiences on the PS3— it’s free! Join the adventure today!” – Eric Monacelli, Community Strategist/Naughty Dog

If you already own Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and have been playing multiplayer since it came out, you’ll also be rewarded with custom items for both you and your character(s).  The next time you log in, you’ll have a custom Naughty Dog paw icon on your rank, and you’ll receive a Naughty Dog paw shirt for your custom character.  Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer colors receive a tweak as well, allowing for more color options when customizing character items; this will be available for everyone as a new feature to the multiplayer.

The Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Multiplayer is available for download now in the PlayStation Store!  More details can be found on the Official Naughty Dog Blog.
