(UPDATE) Ubisoft's New IP, Osiris, Footage Leaked, Thought to be Prince of Persia Reboot

Last year, images of a supposed Prince of Persia reboot surfaced around E3 time, and the internet was flooded with speculations. Well it seems that Ubisoft is indeed creating a similar game, with the moniker, Osiris, an entirely new franchise with unknown relations to the Prince of Persia world. It’s still unknown as to whether Osiris is still being developed or not, in fact not much is known about the game at all. Though you can tell from the footage that neither the setting, characters, or even fonts and graphics would be out of place in a Prince of Persia game. Either way, you may want to take a peek at the clip before it’s taken down.

We’ll have more for you as we’ve reached out to Ubisoft for more details.

Update

Polygon is reporting that development on the project in question has been halted. “The content in question was from a Ubisoft project that is no longer moving forward,” was Ubisoft’s response.
