Ubisoft Showcases Far Cry 4's Firepower With a New Trailer

“So what do you need? Besides a miracle…”

“Guns. Lots of guns.”

Far Cry 4‘s firepower can be seen with a new trailer released by Ubisoft. Whether you choose to traverse through Kyrat via stealth or brute force, chances are there will be a weapon that will fit your needs.

The trailer introduces us to Longinus, an ex-warlord who discovered religion. Naturally, his new found faith means he gets to provide players a means to kill some very bad people, but there is a reason, per Ubisoft’s description:

Longinus traveled with various religious expeditions searching for the blood diamonds he helped export during his time as a warlord. He followed a trail to the Himalayas and found himself in Kyrat, caught up in an all-too-familiar civil war. Longinus may have been reborn, but this doesn’t mean that the lion became the lamb. His willingness to sell guns and supplies to the sheep, while advocating that they fight for freedom, came from his experience that warlords don’t simply go away.

It will be interesting to see the role Longinus plays in the story of Far Cry 4, as well as any other themes the narrative will decide to take on.

Far Cry 4  will release on November 18th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
